Pink Cleaning Company Inc. ("we," "us," "our") operates in Nanaimo, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It's written to meet British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) — the law that governs how a BC business like ours handles your information.
What we collect
When you submit the quote form on this site, we collect your name, business name (if given), email address, the type of space you need cleaned, and any details you share about size and frequency. If you call or email us directly, we keep whatever information you choose to give us in that conversation. We don't use cookies or tracking scripts that build a profile of you as you browse.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your quote request, schedule a walkthrough, and provide cleaning services if you become a client. We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
How it's shared and where it's stored
Quote form submissions are sent to our inbox through a transactional email provider. That provider, and the infrastructure this website runs on, are based outside Canada — which means your information may be transmitted to and processed on servers in the United States as part of simply sending you a reply. We only use these providers to operate the website and respond to you; we don't permit them to use your information for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and related correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, deliver services if you book with us, and meet our own bookkeeping and legal obligations — after which it's deleted.
Your rights
Under BC PIPA, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it's wrong, or ask us to delete it. To make any of these requests, email us at info@pinkcleaning.ca. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Marketing emails
We don't currently send marketing emails or newsletters. If that changes, we'll only do so with your consent and in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) — including a clear way to unsubscribe in every message.
Children
This website isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business grows. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent version.
